![]() Many myths exist about people finding the missing water tower and items but none of these reports have ever been confirmed. On top of that, some resource items still appear to be missing. The most commonly cited reason for the existence of this problem is a missing water tower in one of the desert towns - a pre-release screenshot shows two water towers in that settlement, yet the second tower is missing in the final game for whatever reason. However, this issue appears to have been solved at some point (or perhaps it was never real to begin with). There are several theories as to why this issue exists: firstly, the sixth Agency mission, "Into the Den", reportedly does not give you any resource items, unlike all other missions, even though the game thinks these resource items exist. ![]() It still isn't known what the max possible completion percentage is (it is somewhere between 99.9% and 100% but the exact number has not been confirmed). JC2 can't be completed 100% Issue description: Not a problem the average player will face considering JC2's enormous size but a very interesting one nonetheless. Do not do it before you pilot that plane at least once. Warning: Completing the airport called Kem Udara Wau Pantas prevents the Bering from spawning ever again, making this achievement even harder to get. Worth noting is that other DLC vehicles also count towards the achievement, so theoretically you can miss more than 2 regular ones and still get it. They do count as unique vehicles, though, and thus you "only" need to find the remaining 102 vehicles. The achievement requires you to drive 104 vehicles - however, there are currently more vehicles in the game, thanks to the presence of the Chevalier Ice Breaker and the Tuk Tuk Boom Boom, both of which were added as free DLC after the game's release. Solution: The solution here is actually really simple. Personally, I think it is more likely that people are just having extreme difficulties finding each of these 104 vehicles (as some of them do spawn in very rare conditions and it's hard to remember which ones you've already checked off) but perhaps I am mistaken and one or more of the vehicles in the game indeed never spawns. The achievement "Trying Anything Once" is impossible to get Issue description: I cannot confirm that this issue exists but reportedly, at least one of the 104 vehicles you need to drive to get this achievement does not spawn anywhere (a rumour says that it spawns underwater but this is rather unlikely). However, when I activated a flying challenge, died in it and restarted from the checkpoint, the civilian NPCs immediately returned. Activating a skydiving challenge did not fix it. Note: I have had this bug occur randomly without visiting Hantu Island. Also worth noting is that after beating the side mission "Stranded", this bug should most likely never occur again. I cannot confirm that this works - I've only experienced this glitch once and I don't know what fixed it. According to Eidos, there is a simple fix for this: start any race challenge. For whatever reason, this can cause the civilians not to spawn anymore (along with sometimes switching the weather to be permanently stormy). Solution: The most likely cause of this problem is that you visited Hantu Island (aka the Lost island, the big one in the northwestern corner of the map). The Superman Flying, First Person Shooter, and Island in Chaos mods have been included because of their victories in the 2010, 2011, and 2013 modding competitions. There are no civilian NPCs anywhere on the map Issue description: There are no regular civilian NPCs to be seen anywhere - the military, gangs and some special NPCs are still there, but the civilians have just evaporated.
